We are often asked why the re-glazing of pottery
costs more than their white equivalents.
The finish of the glazing is as good as the original white-ware. This sometimes takes 2, 3 or even 4 ‘firings’ in the kilns at around 1200°.
Here’s an example of where re-firing brand new ware can go wrong, totally beyond our control and whereby we have to start all over again.......
